Why do some preachers think that talking slow in a weird voice and repeating a catch phrase over and over again with a bunch of odd annunciation is “preaching”? I just don’t get what they are thinking or why anyone would want to listen to this sort of barren word-less preaching. Whatever happened to preaching the word of God? Well, I guess some people just want a bunch of mindless chanting that results in a emotional response….but only if you are put off like “what’s this guy smoking?” I just don’t get it.

Rey,
That guy who has “barren word-less preaching” did quote Scripture.
Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”
Psalm 37:4 “Delight in the Lord.”
Phillipians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord.”
Did he not quote enough in a 3 minute period for your taste? Who is one preacher who you would not say, “what’s this guy smoking?”
